Coeur d’Alene offers two distinct shopping districts that are easily walkable and offer a wide array of goods. Downtown along Sherman Avenue you will find art galleries, clothing boutiques, toy stores, antiques, jewelers and plenty of handmade goods. Northwest of downtown is Riverstone; a continually expanding mixed use area. Here there are fly shops, wedding and prom retailers, craft wine and beer, and the Culinary Stone, one of the largest kitchen supply stores in the area. Don’t forget about the two farmers markets that run May through October on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Here you will find not only fresh fruits and veggies but handmade items by local craftsman.
